6 Week Walking Challenge – Week 4

Week 4 here we come - I am thinking I might add an additional 5 weeks with a different set of goals :) So Holiday week  and a sore foot - means I only got 15 kms done this week, I am quite okay with that actually. The cold weather has passed as well and the snow is melting, yeah! But now I am ready to hit the pavement again and this weeks goal will be to do 3.5 kms (2 miles) in less then 30 mins. 6 Week Walking Challenge – Week 3

Well I completed this week :) I managed to get in 21kms - harsh weather and my foot, keeping the kms lower then I had hoped for!  Total So far 80 kms. But I made sure to do at least 10 minutes of yoga each day and wii games HAHAHA well they are fun, have you tried the boxing it gives your arms quite a workout! Well I am doing good! Not great. Spend much of the week outside - which is awesome! The weather has turned a bit cold but not to worry I have a gym in the apartment building. I did twist my foot a few weeks back and this has proved to be harder then I thought to deal with on the treadmill.  So I am taking the weekend off. My total for the week was 28 kms at about 3.5kms per hour. My realization is that to get a 100km week in it will take about 28 hours a week or 4 hours a day. That … [Read more...]
