Great to see you again! Thanks for visiting!
The Divine Goddess
The growing popularity of the Goddess or the Feminine aspect of Divinity signals a rebirth of spiritual focus known to nearly all cultures at one time or another. The Goddess, a symbol of among other things, the juicy, luscious, divine energy within us all, was in early cultures, worshipped as a symbol of fertility and infinite creativity. In many early cultures, The Goddess was depicted as a voluptuous (in modern english, “rubinesque”) with large breasts, a full-figured belly, and voluptuous legs-archetypical child-bearing mother material. Her image says, “I am Woman! I am The Goddess-source of birth and hence, Life Itself!”
Tantric Goddess
In neo-tantra and modern Tantric culture, The Goddess is many times referred to as Shakti-that divine energy- the sexual electricity that flows through our cells most commonly when making love and experienced directly as orgasm. This energy, this Goddess energy, is to be seen & experienced ultimately in all things. As Life itself is a constant wheel of infinite creativity.
The Goddess is seen as the expression of that voluptuous, life-giving energy that is like the flower abundantly releasing her seed gifts to fill the Universe with the beauty and hope that is the bloom of the Divine.
The Goddess was often worshipped in the form of The Sacred Yoni as seen in many ancient and more recently modern paintings and sculptures. In modern Tantric culture, many tantrika practice as dakinis or tantric goddesses/teachers/partners where they work with students to activate their erotic circuits and facilitate the free-flow of kundalini-shakti in the practice of full-body limitless orgasm through Tantric Massage.
