simple 3-minute tantric exercise

Posted by Lori on Apr-22-2008

Remember that tantra is transformation. The following is a simple 3-minute tantric exercise that anybody can do.

1. Close your eyes and notice your current mental and emotional state - good or bad, up or down.

2. Then start instantly remembering any moment, memory, feeling, image, sound, or smell, that makes you profoundly happy… even makes you laugh…

3. Remain in that feeling and allow it to intensify until you can feel it throughout your body. Feel yourself smiling, and your eyes twinkling.

4. Now think of a loving, happy moment - anything that gives you a warm, wonderful feeling in the center of your chest. Feel it and remain in it.

5. Let go of the memory and keep the feeling. Remain in the feeling. That “warm fuzzy” feeling in your chest is caused by your thymus gland, which sits on the left side of your chest atop your physical heart. Notice how you feel now. Transforming, isn’t it?

The thymus hormones not only give you that warm fuzzy feeling, but they also triumph over cortisol (the “stress” hormone which kills through long-term exposure).

You’ve just performed an instant tantric “de-stress,” using nothing but your own “mind” - your nervous and endocrine systems… and the good new is, the more you stimulate the good feelings, the easier it is for you to have more.

Modern science shows that your body builds new “neural networks” just to channel the peptides bringing you those good feelings!

6. So repeat the exercise to strengthen the positive neural networks.

Smile, Breathe Right, and Keep Your Tongue Up!

Tantra Yoga Meditation

Posted by Lori on Feb-5-2008

Tantra yoga meditation is often practiced this way:

A tantra devotee sits calmly and purifies mind and heart of wayward thoughts and desires. The devotee then senses the life force within his or her being and gradually, through imagination and feeling, directs the life force to rise up the spine, from the tailbone into the neck and then into the forehead.

When considerable life force is gathered in the forehead, the tantra yogi, through practice, directs that the life force move out from the forehead and form a body of light and energy three to six feet before him or her. The body of light in front of the devotee is encouraged to become dense and expand until it is as large as a human form.

The tantric yogi then directs love and devotion toward the dynamic body of light which is a profound representation of his or her soul and essence. Usually, after fifteen to thirty minutes of this meditation, the yogi invites the light and energy to slowly return into his forehead and down through the body to the base of the spine.

Through practice, amazing renewal is felt through tantric meditation and spiritual awakening is accelerated. The tantric becomes aware that the life force and essence within each person is truly divine; it is from the Lord. The spirit in each one is from God.

How to have an energy orgasm

Posted by Lori on Jan-30-2008

1) Lie down on a firm surface with your knees bent.

2) Breath a few times, emptying your mind and letting go of tension.

3) When you feel yourself relaxing, take deeper breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. It is important that you make the breathing circular, with no pauses.

4) As you breath, arch your back as you inhale and lower your back and squeeze your PC muscles as you exhale (the ones that stop urination) as you exhale. Repeat continuously.

5) Now it’s time to use your mind and soul to stimulate energy. Imagine pulling the entire universe into the space between your anus and vagina and circulating it there. This will build fire in your sex center, or the first and second chakras. Next, move the energy to your abdominal area, circulating the fire from the belly to the genitals, the second and third chakras.

6) Now circulate the energy from the belly to the heart, the third and fourth chakras.

7) Next concentrate on the throat. Circulate the energy from heart to throat, the fourth and fifth chakras. You should feel the energy in your throat, which may cause you to emit sounds. If you do not automatically make sounds, purposely do so to further open up the throat and give more space for the energy. Circulate in this area until you feel the energy in the Third Eye.

8) Now circulate the energy from the throat to the Third Eye, the fifth and sixth chakras.

9) Finally, circulate the energy from the Third Eye to the top of your head, the seventh chakra. You will feel as though the energy is going to explode through the top of your head.

Tantric Yoga

People who are not familiar with the practices of Tantric Yoga tend to think of it as a means of achieving extreme sexual gratification with a purely physical motivation. Tantra is not about wild orgies and sexual promiscuity. Tantric love is not pornographic or debasing- it is uplifting and life affirming.

Tantra is all about Spirituality and Love. With sexual energy being the most powerful Life Force, it is the energy that can best lead us to higher consciousness and spiritual awareness. Practicing Tantric Yoga teaches us how to harness that super powerful energy to help us achieve a deeply spiritual union with our partners and with the Universe.

Tantric Yoga helps in spiritual development because it provides a way to transform sexual energy into other energies to open up the chakras. Opening up the chakras promotes physical and spiritual health, and it helps us become more enlightened and blissful. It provides a Gateway to the Sacred and Divine. It puts us in touch with who we really are!

Through breathing techniques and body positioning while making love, a couple can transcend the physical world and unite with one another in the metaphysical, spiritual world. This is achieved by the couple uniting their respective masculine and feminine energies and becoming One with the Universe.
